Yes, it's that time of year again! The beard is taking a break, and this sweet 'stache has returned. M4K Richmond is celebrating it's 20th growing season by supporting 20 local charities for children.
M4K Richmond improves the quality of life for local children through individual fundraising, partnering with local charities and businesses, and having a little bit of fun with facial hair.
Basically we grow mustaches for a month as a marketing tool to raise money for local children's charities. Last year we had nearly 200 growers raise and donate $600,000+ to
ASK,
SCAN,
Children's Hospital Foundation of Richmond and
FeedMore. and several
others. This year we have over 300 growers and are hoping to raise $750,000!
TL;DR - I look dumb with a mustache, the kids get $, you get a laugh at my expense. Everyone wins!
