It’s the last day of growing season and the ‘Stache is in full effect! I am almost 1/2 way to my personal goal so I hope you can help me get to the finish line.
Thank you for supporting my effort to help these amazing organizations and the kids that count on them.
I am excited to be taking part in the Mustaches for Kids (M4K) challenge again this year and hope you will consider investing into what will certainly be an incredible opportunity to impact the lives of those who need our support.
I am just about 3 weeks into my growing season and I have to say the sweet ‘Stache is coming along nicely.
During this week of giving thanks, this organization’s mission is all the more impactful. Since its start, Mustaches for Kids Richmond has raised over $1 million to support children. Two of the primary beneficiaries of this support are the ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation and FeedMore.
ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation http://www.askccf.org/blog
is an amazing organization that provides Assistance, Support and Kindness
for children with cancer and their families. The stories of what ASK is able to do (with your support) for families that are facing insurmountable odds are some of the most amazing things I have ever heard. Just imagine being able to focus on your child’s battle instead of all the other things life is throwing at you. Granted I am partial because Leslie serves on the ASK board, but believe me you want to be part of supporting this effort. It’s the closest you can get to being an angel in their lives.
FeedMore. It is hard to imagine a child going hungry in our wonderful country but one in seven central Virginians struggle with hunger. As we sit around our tables with a bountiful meal and give thanks this year, I hope everyone will pray for those who won’t have that opportunity and know that your donation will help solve that problem. https://feedmore.org/how-we-help/
Additionally, Mustaches for Kids supports the Children’s Hospital, Stop Child Abuse Now (SCAN) and more. http://www.m4krichmond.org/3/miscellaneous3.htm
Thank you to those who have already so generously donated. It means the world to have your support for these incredible organizations that do so much; for which most of us "thankfully" never have to rely on them.
And for those who haven’t, you don't want to be that person who doesn't support children and families battling cancer, feeding, protecting and making kids healthy do you???
