For years, I have always given back and made a career out of serving others. After almost 20 years of service in law enforcement, I never was able to grow the cop stache but did grow a long beard because of particular types of "assignments." The beard grew on me and I've kept the beard for almost 10 years. With partial close trimmings, my kids don't remember me without a beard. However, after transitioning to the corporate world I miss the sense of truly serving and helping those in need first hand (with facial hair). This is why I've decided to join M4K, shave it all, and start fresh with a mustache grow that will likely not impress not the first of you. However, if you decide to donate to my underperforming, wishful thinking mustache growing capabilities, you will help a deserving child in need. Mustache for Kids is a prominent champion for children's charities that benefit kids that suffer from cancer, child abuse, hunger, homelessness, underpriviledged circumstances, mental health, bereavement, and other conditions a child may face. So long story short, my facial hair and comfort behind it, is a small sacrifice to pay to help those in true need. Think of this, if each person I knew gave $20, we would be able to donate tens of thousands of dollars. If you gave $5, I'd still be able to donate thousands. What can you do? After all, you're not growing a sweet, sweet mustache - I am. Let me save you the trouble and donate to this cause (ladies, no offense, I know facial hair is not a concern) so we can give as a team. No shave November will forever traumatize my family but will help those in need. Give now, thank you (you have no idea how much I appreciate it)!!
