M4K Richmond

Dear Friends and Family,

 

Yes, it's that time of year again where I ridicule myself to help kids in need! This is my 15th year growing and M4K Richmond is celebrating it's 26th growing season by supporting even more local charities for children.

 

So some of you may be asking, you've been growing a mustache for 15 years? What the heck is M4k?.   M4K Richmond improves the quality of life for local children through individual fundraising, partnering with local charities and businesses, and having a little bit of fun with facial hair. 

Basically we grow mustaches for a month as a marketing tool to raise money for local children's charities.  Last year we had nearly 400 growers raise and donate $100,000,000+ to ASK, SCAN, Children's Hospital Foundation of Richmond and FeedMore. and several others.  This year we have over 500 growers and are hoping to raise a crush $1,000,000!

 

Children's Hospital Foundation of Richmond is especially close to my heart for all the help they provide to my oldest son Carter.  I truly don’t know what we would do without their expertise and commitment to my family.  CHoR has done so much to support my son and my family over the last 14 years.  

Last year I raised over $8,000 with your great support.  This year I’m hoping to top the $10,000 mark! I know this has been an difficult year for many. Our charities and the kids they support need your help now more than ever. Please do what you can.

Lastly, keep an eye on social media as there will be virtual events all month long that everyone is welcome to attend, participate, or spectate. I hope they're entertaining.
