As the Chief Operating Officer for the Virginia Department of Health I have the awesome opportunity to support initiatives all across Virginia that make significant impact in people's lives. As a long-time volunteer Emergency Medical Services (EMS) provider in Henrico I've seen so many times first-hand the impact that a lack of proper nutrition, healthcare access, proper housing, basic transportation, loneliness, improper physical activity, and lack of healthcare literacy can have on a family. These charities are making direct impact in Central Virginia on the healthcare outcomes of our children and their families. 

As a healthcare leader, and more importantly as the father of a young son, I support the mission of M4K.
